Starting from the mountain refuge Bafi (1,160m) we will make a nice circular route in the heart of the national park of Parnitha. Our course moves for the most part on a path in a dense forest. In our route, we will visit the EDASA fire lookout (a small wooden house in the forest), from which we will have an unrestricted view of the Euboean Gulf and Mount Dirfis. There, we will take a short break. Then, our journey continues through a dense fir forest. The route ends with a return back to the Bafi refuge.
It is an easy and pleasant route with beautiful changes in the landscape and small altitude differences. We will return again to the Bagi refuge where you can enjoy your drink or food.
The route is suitable for the whole family.
Tip: Remember to dress appropriately and check the temperature. In Parnitha the temperature is 5-6 degrees lower than in the city of Athens.
